I read more scripts than novels this month, and I had the good fortune of reading some yet-to-be-published works. Thus, allow me narrow this month's recommendations down to that which has been published:

Throat Culture by Christopher Golden and Rick Hautala, which is the tenth and final volume in the Body of Evidence series of thrillers. I originally read this book years ago, and I recently re-read all of the books in the line. This series is being republished in ebook format, which makes me very happy. Start with the first book, Body Bags.

Blackwood by Gwenda Bond, which is being adapted for television by MTV.
